INFORMAL CONSULTATIONS:

In the coming months before the Cairo Conference, look for interested delegates to hold informal consultations on a number of outstanding issues in the ICPD Programme of Action. These include: goals; resource requirements; the definition of some of the more controversial terms, including reproductive health, reproductive rights and family planning; and the first two chapters: preamble and principles, in particular those that may prove controversial.
