and Switzerland, reiterated that the INCD was given a clear mandate and should produce a convention of universal application, with specific attention to Africa. Barbados, on behalf of the Caribbean Community, Benin, Botswana, Kenya and Tanzania supported the extension of the deadline to allow for incorporation of other regional protocols.
