Thirty-second meeting of the Open-ended Working Group of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer

On Friday morning, delegates met in contact groups to address data discrepancies, Technology and Economic Assessment Panel (TEAP) administrative issues, alternatives to ozone-depleting substances (ODS), and treatment of ODS supplied to ships.

On Friday afternoon, delegates met in plenary to hear reports from the contact groups, forward their work to the 24th session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol (MOP 24), and adopt the report of the meeting. Co-Chair Ghazi Odat (Jordan) gaveled the meeting to a close at 7:13pm.

Blaise Horisberger (Switzerland) presented on the preparations for MOP 24 to be held in Geneva, Switzerland from 12-16 November 2012.
