GEF Council Adopts Decision to Broaden GEF Partnership, New Funds Pledged

26 May 2011: The 40th meeting of the Global Environment Facility (GEF) Council has adopted a decision on broadening the GEF Partnership under Paragraph 28 of the GEF Instrument, which establishes criteria and accreditation procedures for allowing new entities into the Partnership during a pilot phase. CSD 19 Closes Without Adopting Decisions

13 May 2011: The 33rd session of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has established an Executive Committee, adopted a Conflict of Interest Policy, and introduced several changes to its rules of procedure.
