Geneva,
16 October—The sixth meeting of the
Persistent Organic Pollutants Review
Committee (POPRC 6) of the Stockholm
Convention on Persistent Organic
Pollutants (POPs), which convened from
11-15 October 2010, in Geneva,
Switzerland, adopted 12 decisions,
including on: support for effective
participation in POPRC’s work; the work
programmes on new POPs; and
intersessional work on toxic
interactions.

32nd session from 11-14 October 2010, in
Busan, Republic of Korea, discussed,
inter alia: IPCC processes and

management; and the scope of the
Synthesis Report of the 5th Assessment
Report (AR5).
