WATER-L is a mailing list for news and
announcements related to the World Water Forum and water policy issues. Postings
include water policy news, announcements of workshops/conferences, job listings,
and information on new publications and online resources.
Water-L is created by the
International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD), in collaboration
with the Secretariat of the
5th World
Water Forum
and the
World
Water Council.

WATER-L
is a peer-to-peer announcement list and any subscriber to WATER-L can
post to this list and postings that fall within the list guidelines will be
distributed to all other subscribers. This mailing list will facilitate the

water-related events, issues, and activities.
This is a
moderated list and only announcements that satisfy the following guidelines
will be distributed to the list:
a) All postings to WATER-L should
be announcements appropriate for an international audience that have a "water"
connection: i.e. water management, best practices in use of water, conservation,
announcements or outcomes of water-related meetings or sessions/side events at
water meetings;
b) No postings that are commercial
in nature, personal statements, news stories, polemic statements or postings
intended to create discussion will be cleared for distribution to the list;
c) Postings should include the
internet address for large documents (URLs) rather than including attached
