Highlights from Friday, 30 April
On Friday morning, delegates
discussed meeting basic needs
in water, sanitation and human settlements, with particular focuses on
Sanitation and Human Settlements. In the afternoon, delegates met to hear
statements on the status on preparations for the International Meeting to Review the
Implementation of the Programme of Action for the Sustainable
Development of Small Island Developing States (SIDS) in
Mauritius. Chair Brende also introduced his summary of the
High Level Segment. John Ashe, Antigua and Barbuda, was elected Chair
of CSD 13. The CSD adjourned at approximately 6:00 pm. Photo: CSD
