She called for unconditional and predictable adaptation funding to allow for long-term planning.

On REDD, Thailand (left photo) highlighted REDD as an adaptation strategy cutting across the four building blocks, while Australia (right photo) noted her proposal proposal for a Carbon Forest Market Mechanism.

On REDD+, Kevin Conrad, Papua New Guinea (left photo), emphasized the need to integrate multiple revenue streams and organize them so as to facilitate a step-wise process, with scaled-up and unconditional ODA and earmarked market-linked funding. He emphasized the need to ensure carbon market stability, possibly through setting aside a percentage of AAUs. Andrew Bishop, Guyana (right photo), emphasized the importance of conservation.
