On Friday, 27 April, the technical groups on the list of crops, legal matters and definitions met during the morning to continue their work and prepare reports for consideration by the Contact Group. The Contact Group met during the afternoon and early evening to continue discussions on Article 12 (Facilitated Access) of the Chair's simplified text. Specifically, the Contact Group debated language in Article 12.2 on provision of access to other Contracting Parties and natural or legal persons under their jurisdiction. Delegates addressed outstanding matters in Article 18 (Financial Resources), while introducing discussions on Articles 14 (Global Plan of Action), 16 (International Plant Genetic Resources Networks) and 17 (Global Information Network on PGRFA). The Contact Group also received the textual output and a final report from the legal technical group.
