On Thursday, 26 April, the Contact Group continued discussions on Article 12 (Facilitated Access) of the Chair's simplified text, specifically focusing on sub-provisions Article 12.2 and 12.4, as well as a developing country proposal on remuneration for commercialization of PGRFA not used for purposes of research, breeding and training for food and agriculture. Delegates also addressed outstanding issues in Article 18 (Financial Resources), including sub-provisions Article 18.1, 18.4(c), 18.4(e) and 18.5. Technical groups on the list of crops, legal matters and definitions met in afternoon and evening sessions.
