Correa is with IBASE (Brasilian Institute for Social and Economic Analysis) and is the founder of Sos-Corp Genero E Cidadania, Brasil, and a member of DAWN, Development Alternative Women for a New Era, a southern-based research and activist network. She worked on population and reproductive rights at the ICPD in Cairo and closely followed negotiations there and at the last stage of the Social Summit.
